What's the stereotypes of us Yankees do you have?

Im sorry but its mainly Ohio stereotypes. We have cousins from Ohio and they are down right mean to us and everything. They think are less of a person because we live in the South. They call us the Kentucky Bunch. Same thing with the MO cousins.

ETA; The civil war also. I had lots of family that were high ranked in the Confederate army. We were slave holders, wealthy, and had plantations back in the 1800s. But now we are blue collared.

James, your family was slave holders? I think my family borrowed a cup of sugar from the slaves back in those days We were poor folks SUPER POOR! I know my grandma had black lady friends that their kids and hers played together I never thought much of it though. I sure don't think we had slaves...on either side. Although my paternal side was a bunch of moonshiners and were rich at one point

I come from a long line of slave holders and confederate colonels. Im not racist. After the war my family moved to Kentucky from Virginia. We found it out a few months ago when we went thru a few family records. Our clan of the family is the poor clan. The other clans are RICH. They have construction companies, real estate, etc. Its my moms side. My dads side was confederate soliders.

I truly consider it a border state. It can go either way, like some of the other states that were so divided. Depends on the region I suppose, but mostly I consider it southern.
