Cindi do you consider KY a southern state?

I truly consider it a border state. It can go either way, like some of the other states that were so divided. Depends on the region I suppose, but mostly I consider it southern.

Our region of the state is southern, now Lexington and Louisville are not. We have the food, the accent, etc.

I think you know, rednecks, hicks, all the bad stuff, it makes me mad.

I really enjoyed reading "Born Fighting" about the ScotsIrish in America that addresses some of that stereotype
