Sorry for the delay, I was resetting some admin passwords on the family PC and realized I forgot the new "superuser" password. Had to think straight to save my rear end from a big mess.

:hide I fancy myself a history buff of the "War Between the States". I think I'm a Yankee by birth and Southerner by spirit. Maybe that's why I gravitated to you two. I'm sure you two could teach me a thing or too.
I'm sure we could learn a good bit from you too :) No matter we still like ya Jamie :lau even if you are "one of them" :gig
Yeah, one of my great-great uncles was part of the pillaging horde that tore up your neck of the woods and won some medals doing so. I actually have a cannon ball he carried home after he was mustered out.

Cindi do you consider KY a southern state?
I truly consider it a border state. It can go either way, like some of the other states that were so divided. Depends on the region I suppose, but mostly I consider it southern.
Our region of the state is southern, now Lexington and Louisville are not. We have the food, the accent, etc.
 I can relate, some of my roots are in SE Ohio/Appalachia country and at my first job after college, I worked with a gal from Louisville. I was more "southern" than her....it was hoot

Oh I know your not! Your to much like Cindi and me to be proud of it! Heres a weird thing my moms side were slave holders, plantation owners, etc. My dad's dad's side were confederate soliders. My dad's mom's side was related to Abraham Lincoln. Their is lincoln monument like thing in a cemetery up here. And ten miles from it is an Southern manor.

I have found a few mini balls from the old war in MY YARD! I live close to Shiloh National Military Park. One of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War was fought just a stone's throw from my place here. It is sad to walk around and see all the gravesites and burial trenches :( LOTS of unknown soldiers :(
