Opportunity knocks little bro. I found a place where I can get 2 does in milk for the price I gave for her. If I can recoup that cost...more milk. :hu A step in the right direction if ya ask me ;) PLUS I can retain her daughter for the future of the herd as well. Free goat sounds mighty good to me....IF I can pull it off :D
Oh! Very nice then :) Good luck!!!
Meh...he backed out. BUT at least I don't have to get another goat used to me :hu Claire is doing fine. She is still hormonal..but I'm milking her next week and I tell her every day to look forward to it cause it's happening whether she likes it or not
I MUST know how it tastes.........

Well I can already tell ya that. I've had raw goat milk before. It tastes like raw cow's milk or heavy cream you get at the store. Thick and richer than plain milk. I like it :hu

ohhh. I must have some soon (10 years atleast)...........

DD burned her leg on the wood stove Sunday because she was about to SIT on it  so she had this nasty blister yesterday that finally popped and it looked like it was getting better. well today she comes in from school with her pant leg on that side all rolled so her jeans wouldn't rub. She walks over to the wood stove to warm up and.....yep...EXACT same spot...new nasty blister. :/ This child is a danger to herself :smack So...I'm taking her to the doc tomorrow to have her leg looked at and quite possibly a brain scan to check for cobwebs while she's there :lau :P

Poor girl! Sounds painful....hope she is ok!
I think her leg is.. A couple weeks ago I was telling my boss about how I was afraid for her to be home by herself because she seems to always get hurt and he kind of laughed at me and I said something about how she could fall off the back deck and hurt herself while we weren't home and be all by herself. I shouldn't have said that. Two days later she fell off the back deck just as we were pulling into the driveway :/ She is ACCIDENT PRONE! At least she's tough though I guess :hu
