Wannabefree...guess what I got in the mail today!?!?!?!?

WBF, learn to play the piano. There are all kinds of programs out there for adult students. And, it can be quite satisfying.

I think I'm going to track down my 5th grade teacher and see if she still gives lessons for violin. That is the instrument I REALLY have always wanted to learn. I have done a bit with guitar on my own when I was younger. I just can't wrap my head around piano for some reason. I wanted to play the cello and percussion when I was younger too. I LOVE drums and constantly have some sort of beat in my head but hubs is getting old and I don't want to throw him into a nervous breakdown :lau He turned the big 40 today :D Bless his heart...he's sick today. I've been busy having to baby him. :love (he never let's me any other time :D )

The goats jumped the fence today :/ I have had to put them back up twice. I finally relented and just put them back in the chicken coop for the time being. DH keeps wanting to go out and help, and he's not feeling well as is, so I decided it's best all around to put them bac with the chickens until we can get that fence fixed. Stupid goats :smack

Note to Self: I think I need to do something about this...I just don't know what yet.
I am with Deb. Learn to play! I bet you can find someone to exchange with!!

I wanna do something like that. Come over for a music lesson and I feed you an awesome dinner. LOL. Most musicians I know are starving college students ;)

But school first. With it and dance I have no brain cells left over for music.

So true about the music! I come from the same kind of family...guitars, harmonicas accordians, fiddles!!! Oh how I miss that! And I always sang in church and at conferences with my father who played guitar and harmonica...I never learned.
All that family time got replaced with TV and video games...maybe that is why guitar hero is so big!!! LOL!

My DD wants to learn how to play the violin. I think she can do it. She taught herself to play the guitar, and can play the piano by ear. I tried to teach her how to play the piano, but she didn't want to learn from me. Now she has a friend that will give her free lessons, so she's planning on learning from them.

While I'm no expert, I can play the piano, the guitar, the stringed dulcimer, the recorder, the clarinet, a bit on the fife and the harmonica. I'd love to learn how to play a hammered dulcimer one day, but they're expensive, and I don't know anyone that has one.
