What the crud goes through their heads?! If I would have talked to either of my parents like that I'd have gotten a close up of the back of their hand...AND DESERVED IT! Kids these days get away with murder. DD's attitude is crap too. :smack
 
It's a CPS thing. You discipline your child, and you have to worry about someone calling the authorities on you for child abuse. :he
 
You're telling me. :th Not too long ago, one of the kids talked back and I said "back in the day" that would have happened. His response - go ahead an try I'll just call the police. I asked him where he got that from - " school" of course. :he

I handed him a paper grocery bag and told him to go get what he wanted wanted from his room, and explained to him how the police call CPS and what he could expect.

I also explained to me I could call the police and say he was out of control and for him the result would be the same.

I truly do
