I have 2 turkey eggs!! Set them today

The goat is doing good now. I have a buck coming in a few weeks, so I am drying her off.

I can be silly.....whats the joke?

There was this blonde that got caught in a really bad hail storm and her car got all dinged up. So, she took it to her local auto body shop to see about getting the dents out. The repairman decided to have some fun, so he told her, "You don't need to pay to have the dents taken out. When you get home, let your car cool down, then blow in the exhaust pipe, and all the dents will pop out."

So, she drives home, parks her car and lets it cool down. Then, she goes out and blows in the exhaust pipe. Nothing happens. Her roommate, also a blonde watches in silent amazement, then asks, "What are you doing?" Blonde #1 explains, then adds, "But, it didn't work." The roommate replied, "No duh. You have the windows down."

What a wonderful afternoon I have had My mom came for a visit after she got her taxes done. I cooked us some catfish and hushpuppies with some fresh slaw, and we ate. Then we traded coupons, and i sent her home a dozen eggs because her chickens aren't laying well right now. Me and the little niecey girl played tag for a little while, and DH and Pop went out and worked on the tiller. I think they have it fixed, there is just a little trash in the gas line, but DH is going to flush it out tomorrow. Maybe in the next couple days we can actually get some seeds in the ground!! I am soooo looking forward to it! All in all a lovely afternoon.

Earlier today hubs and I got the brooder cleaned up and the inmates transferred over. I had a really crap hatch this last time with only 3 survivors :/ They are in the small brooder awaiting transfer in 3 weeks. By then the others will be big enough to be on their own. Chickens chickens everywhere!!!! I also took in some babies I had sold to the neighbor lady, her BIL passed away and she will be out of state the rest of the week, so I'm chick sitting for her I got quite a bit done today, and feel really good.

I think I figured out my food allergy too. Soy. Go figure. The oil we have been using to fry fish....pure soybean oil, label says vegetable oil, but it is pure soy *sigh* Guess I'll be throwing that out. I fried them in olive oil this time, and have no ill feelings I even had energy to chase a 6 year old around and around after supper that MUST be what was making me sick!

I have been thoroughly enjoying bacon grease and olive oil I can't believe i have been sick for almost 2 years and just now figuring it out though
