I just posted on FB that I made these cinnamon rolls....and got an order for 3 dozen for a local concession stand to be delivered Friday at noon WHaaaaaaat?!?! How weird is that? Cool...but random and weird

I pinched off the affected leaves in hopes of giving them another week, then I will cut and let them die back. Then...harvest. I did spray them yesterday, but still don't wanna take chances.

The tomatoes have aphids. We caught that early as well. Sprayed those yesterday too. Peas have snails, again, caught early and is being taken care of as we type

Everything else is lookin good. I need to weed the garlic containers and onions again. I took care of the turnip/carrot bed yesterday.

Today it is rainy again. *sigh* I'm stuck inside for the better part of the day AGAIN I can't touch the garden, it's sopping wet, all the plants are soaked, so no touchy I still have things I need to plant. More beans, more peppers, and okra....maybe tomorrow.

I'm about to start on this house and go nuts scrubbing it from floor to ceiling. DH betta stay out my way!!

Uhhhhhh low carb...is that like a unicorn or something? Low carb cinnamon rolls=unicorn. Find me a unicorn. I hear their poop is good for gardens, and I will trade you a low carb batch of cinnamon rolls for it. Meet me at the Crumpy's hot wing joint on Hwy 61 on the West side of Memphis at 4 p.m. tomorrow for the trade off. I'm craving wings

Well looks like I'm a full time farmer again. I quit my job I'm a quitter. :/ I just couldn't take any more! The boss/owner is so overbearing and verbally abusive....SCREAMed at me 5 times in 5 and a half hours....all but told me I was stupid...I just walked out. I can't handle that kind of garbage! What a waste of air *sigh*

Why is it when some folks run a place they think they can just talk to you any old way they want, like you're not even a real person? WHY?

I really hope that man is nicer to his children than he seems to be, his boy works there off and on too...poor kid. I reeeeeeaaaally hope boss doesn't have to go to an old folks home because that kid is gonna pick it, and I truly pity the boss when that day comes. It says something when your own spouse walks out on you(she works there too). NEVER in my life have I been talked to that way and took it without blood being drawn...maybe I've grown up a bit, but well he just NEEDS to be taken out to the woodshed to meet Mr. Mallet!

Oi! Oi! I know that is SO mean...I don't like the way he made me soooo angry to want to do him serious bodily harm...it was sooooo tempting to slap the taste out his mouth

Anyway, SINCE I did not have to go in to work today I channelled my energy into cooking and gardening and housework. THEN I went to get my last check

Now what the crud am I supposed to do? I hate feeling like a jobless loser...hated making that choice...

I'm in need of some serious serious overhaul to get my mind straight and back on track here. I feel like I've been blindsided. I have a bit of work that needs doing soon, and maybe a market for some cooking as well. I just need to recollect myself and get to plugging away at MAKING UP some employment...self employment! I am determined to NEVER work for anyone else EVER again. Come what may, I have a goal, and I am digging in my heels and going to DO SOMETHING with what I have. Dangit! I'm mad and I'm fighting back this time! Come hell or high water this time next year I WILL have my own business fully going, may have to diversify and go completely crazy with services offered to make it work, but I WILL make it work or die tryin.

Gosh I am so frustrated I can't sleep, my mind is in overdrive and so I'm unloading on all of ya'll Forgive me, just needed to vent.

I'm sorry you got treated that way. That employer probably has a long history and if the walls could talk......

Do you feel better having gotten it off of your chest?

Maybe you should try to cash in on the popularity of all this self sufficient trend and teach a class in something? Maybe something that the class helps you sell as well? Just a thought.
