I think I'll serge it though to hold it in place since the skirt is all nicely gathered to the right length and then just do a fold over.

Actually, I think I have some nice brown cotton I can tack on after I serge the skirt's upper edge. *sigh*

It is so stinkin sticky thick heavy nasty hot and humid here!!! I'd suggest hot as HE** but I don't think there is much moisture there. This is miserable

Weeded the garden this morning until it hit 80 degrees...ya know at about 7:30 It's 97 and rising now. :/ Can't do nothin!!

The cotton worked I just have to thread the elastic in and add straps!!

I just watched Eat Drink Man Woman ... it made me fall in love with food again. I even cooked a nice lunch.

I heated vinegar and shoyu and poured it over spinach and put a lid over it to wilt it. Then I cooked up a chicken breast. Then I made a quick teriyaki sauce. And layered it all pretty. Nothing fancy, but quick.

Broody Buff has been evicted from the coop, and is in a cage...Broody Duck, still in the coop, but she isn't harassing everybody and beating up her "baby daddy" either

Lost a baby bun this afternoon. Momma wasn't watching where she sat :/ I buried it between the blueberries in the garden. Poor wittle bun

I'm going to make chalupas for dinner, I'm hungry NOW.

I just posted on Keljonma's thread. Yes, I did. Gonna pick the little one up from dance class and then off to the baseball party tonight to join up with the rest of the family. Hopefully, I'll be bring the mint home.
