Yeah....I seem to recall someone on this thread just about 5 or 6 days ago swearing off all children from now till eternity and NOW look what you guys have done to me!!!! Specially you, Jamie!!!

All this comotion...I forgot to tell you all the sweet sweet bunny story Here goes....We lost a bunny baby yesterday, it got out of the corner of the new cage. We looked and looked for lost bun yesterday, couldn't find it, hoped it would be okay, figured it lost forever but hoped it would have a happy life out in the wild. Fast forward to feeding time this a.m. DH goes out to feed the little chicks in the brooder coop and run, but notices one looks kinda fuzzy It was the BUN! Dunno how in the world he got through the chicken wire to get in, but he had made bed with the chickies last night DH thought he'd be hard to catch so he was seaking up to go in for the snatch, but bunny baby saw him....they stared at each other for a second, and then DH puts his hand flat on the ground, and says "heeeree bunny bun" and bunny bun promptly jumps onto his hand happy to see daddy come to his rescue Aint that so cute you could puke!?

Oh that is sweet!!! Glad bun is okay!!

We underwent one when we adopted too. The social worker came and toured our house and property. It involved lots of questions. We had to have the well tested, prove we had smoke detectors, show vaccination certificates for our pets, stuff like that. I'm not sure if some of the stuff was specific to what was required by the Russian government though. We had follow up visits for two or three years afterwards too. There was financial information to disclose too. It does feel a little invasive, but we tried to remember they were looking out for the best interests of a child.

Vaccinations for ALL pets or all livestock as well?

We only had chickens then and no, they didn't care about the chickens. Just dogs and cats.

We only had chickens then and no, they didn't care about the chickens. Just dogs and cats.

GOOD, only one dog, and she is current wonder about the goats though...they do carry transmissible diseases and such. Maybe I should have a vet come out. Hate to go that route, but if I hafta.... I don't really want my animals like that vaccinated They haven't been exposed to anything.
