So you're a people wrangler. That worksabifae said:Lol! Uncle Jamie? That works. If you are uncle and zilla is auntie, are you siblings?
What do I wrangle? Ummmm... obstinate customers? Computer noobs?
It will be hot today, but not hot like it has been being lately. I have a LOAD to do again and hopefully will not have such sadness enter into my path as yesterday. I really hope that guy pulls through. I can't stop thinking about him and praying he makes it. Anyway, need to haul a couple loads of scrap today and finish up yesterdays list of chores. Maybe I can get started on the greenhouse project soon. I keep trying to start it, but then can't decide WHERE to put it and just don't get it going because I can't decide. Today I have to decide and at least figure out where the crazy thing will go, because we will NEED it out there soon. Even if I don't get started today, a location MUST get chosen!!! WBF - tell them of your food issues immediately. I have tried to inform retreat coordinators at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance, and have never had any issues. But if they can't do something special for you, ask to bring your own food. We have a friend who always brings his own food to church retreats because of his many food issues. Just a thought..... and have fun!Wannabefree said:FarmerJamie said:Free hotel internet access rocks!I will know how that feels in a few weeks. I got elected to go to the women's retreat thingy at church...dunno what to expect from it, because I have never had the money to go but....guess I'll find out
I am nervous about my food allergy being an issue. THEY cook everything there...but i am afraid to eat someone else's cooking

So, not only do you have to read every package for the soy warning, you have to still often go down the list of ingredients anyway *sigh* It annoys me profusely
If I have a reaction and have to take meds, I'll miss the whole thing because I will be ASLEEP through it
I don't wanna do that, so I am thinking of taking a bit of my own food anyway. A loaf of homemade bread for sure, if nothing else. I hate food allergies
