I have been doing this little farming bit for about 3-4 years now. Recently met a guy on this road that has decided to do the same after several visits to my place. The difference is, he has money...apparently enough to just jump up and buy about 20 acres with tractors and everything :hu Now he will be selling a lot of the same produce as I will be selling this year. Did I just create my own competition?! :lau

Only if he sells at a loss...his overhead is higher!

Yeah. I hope I haven't created a monster :lol: He brought his kids and mother by today to see all the critters. They're nice people, but he bought chickens from me a couple years ago, and then couldn't keep them alive and had bad hatch rates. He's a young guy...in a way I hope he makes it work for him, but then....it may be putting me out of business too, so I kinda have mixed feelings. It's weird.
