Wannabefree...guess what I got in the mail today!?!?!?!?

you are right Bee. there is always 'somewhere else' and nothing wrong with that. everyone has to grow up.

key is to send them out there with some stinkin' smarts and not left unattended totally in the brain with the raging hormones.

I don't know if it would have helped me make better decisions if things had been different but I know that low self esteem played a big part in how I advanced into my sexuality.

Also? I just wish some female would have told me the truth about sex....just once...before I got into all that mess. Who knew that it was WAY more fun for the guy than it was for the girl? And that guys always get to go off like a firecracker but girls often just get a fizzle....

And I would have liked to know WHY I shouldn't have sex besides the whole sin or pregnancy issues....there are various things I pointed out to my sons that I wish folks would have told me about other consequences of having premarital sex...and I'm not talking about diseases...I'm talking about what it does to your heart and soul when you give little pieces of yourself away before you know what you had to begin with.

Sure wish I had known. :(

I talk to DD all the time about things like that. It actually embarassed her more when she figured out what that looked like that they were doing, even though they weren't. Either way, they are banned from visiting in the bedroom. I hate them visiting in the livingroom though...teens goofiness and giggling is so annoying  DD does have plans for college, and she knows, pregnant girls often don't make it due to the hardship. She doesn't want that for her life, she is too ambitious. The hormones do concern me though, and I told her, she may not think she wuld do anything, but she hasn't exactly ever had the opportunity either. You can't say what you will or won't do until you are in the position to make that choice. I explained to her she needed to NOT put herself in that position to have to decide, and one quick way to get in that position is not think about what you are doing.

Then today I find out the stupid little FOUR YEAR OLD neighbor boy......touched niecey in an inappropriate way. He got his backside tore slap up, and I talked to his mom, and she allowed me to tell him if I heard of it again I would tear his butt up myself. Maybe that'll put enough fear in him enough he won't do it again. She even went as far as to tell him if he did it again she'd even personally bring him straight to me to wear him out  With all the sexual harassment crap going on WITH STUDENTS in this county, she better get a handle on it whichever way she can, or that boy is gonna cost her a pretty penny in the long run.

So I guess it's not just teens anymore that we have to worry about :/

Anyway, today was shopping day. I got some great deals at Sam's in Tupelo, then I got some even better deals at the local grocer here in Corinth. They had ground beef on sale $1.78/lb. and A-1 steak sauce 2 for $5. i had coupons for $1 off the steak sauce and $1 off beef when you buy any one steak sauce so they stacked nicely for $1 off each product. I splurged and got a couple ribeyes for DH and my anniversary Thursday. 10 years.....and i dunno where they went...seems like less, but then it seems like we've been together forever too. I can no longer remember what life was like without him, and don't really want to, because I can't imagine what I'd do without him now ;)

So I got all the groceries put away, and sliced the 10 pound ham I got at Sam's for lunch meats, and cubed a good bit for salads, ham salad, ham and cheese pockets, and omelets. Then i had a bowl of cereal for dinner :P I am just too tired to cook tonight. 5 hours in Tupelo, 3 in Corinth, then 2 hours to put everything away......I was so NOT cooking.

I hope everyone else has had a good day. :)

Oh, and i lost about 40 chicks today. I have no idea how. When I left for Tupelo this a.m. they were fine. Got halfway there, they were dropping like flies. *sigh*

What do we expect when our cattle are given massive doses for growth hormones? :hu

Glad they weren't up to more, I hope they have some smarts. It certainly sounds like you've raised her well, and he knows enough to at least say Yes Ma'am!!

It's more than just that, his charming lovely daddy shows the kid porn :sick

if he is showing a 4 yr old porn isnt that some kind of child abuse/neglect??? yikes. that is just setting a kid up for failure.:somad tis would be where molesters and rapeists come from.

No I am NOT exagerrating at all. I wish it weren't true, but the kid has seen more porn than most teen boys at his young age. It's disgusting.

I would call it abuse, but unfortunately, I don't think the state agrees. It's morally wrong, but apparently not particularly illegal. Plus you'd have to prove it, the daddy would deny it in front of a judge, though he laughs about it otherwise.
