YES!!!

hehe...okay.....they are wonderfully simple

Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookie Bars
---------------------------------

1 c. pecans
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. AP flour
1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8x12 jellyroll pan.

Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla, then stir in the flour. Next add the pecans and chocolate chips and stir in well.

Spoon the batter into the prepared pan, and press down making sure to get it in all the corners evenly.

Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Remove and let cool about 15 minutes...or as long as you can stand it. Cut into squares and devour!!!

Oh, I started a blog. Scary!!!!!! I've no idea what I'm doing, but it sounded like it might be fun, so I jumped in with both feet like I usually do I have ONE post now, and want to post daily. I started to go with WordPress, but I dunno the difference I'm such a newbie

We're getting RAIN!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Been needing it lately, as it has been a few weeks since we got a good drencher. That gives me an excuse to be stuck in the kitchen this morning I'm gonna make some more cinnamon raisin bread, and sandwich bread. I may make some more barbecue sauce while i'm at it as well. It just depends on when I can get to it. There are several things I am adapting right now from collected recipes, that I need to work on as well. My sandwich bread is one of those items Tweaking is fun
