Actually I just did use it. The crazy pup did a running slide into the water dish and spilled enough I needed it. It is really absorbent. The old string thing would've had to be squeezed out after that spill, but this picked it up just fine.

Can you take it off easily to throw it in the wash? I'd be interested in making one myself, if you have a link? I think it's cool that you made one that looks better than the majority I've seen in the stores!

Oh Jamie, you'd love my little mutt. I wish I could get Buffy and head up there! Can you imagine the three of us face to face... Everyone else would just have to sit and listen to us carry on like a bunch of kids.
