I have tomatoes coming in now, and the peppers are making a comback after the deer massacred them

Do deer eat peppers? That would explain my lush pepper plants turning to stalks. Time to get out the rifle.

My goats got out (ok, the kids LET them out) and they ate/destroyed half of E's tomatoes and all the cantelope vines.

They sure did eat the tops out of my plants. went along sampling each one as if one would taste different than the other

QA....I would make those kids clean up goat poo for a month for that one!! Poor E!!

Puzzle solved. I couldn't imagine that it was a tomato horn worm. ALL of the pepper plants were eaten over night.

yep, that's deer. My goats ate my pepper plants last year, so I got rid of the goats. Now the deer want to start in on them

Well today is shopping day. I gotta go drag my neighbor kicking and screaming out of the bed at this "early" hour and take off to Mississippi for some grub Then I have to haul another load of steel and pick up an old printer and see if I can figure out how to fashion a pea sheeler out of it. And I HOPE to have all of this accomplished at a decent time this afternoon. Wish me blessings on my attempts!!!!! I'll be back...I'm sure that might disappoint some, so thought I'd give fair warning
