Wannabefree...guess what I got in the mail today!?!?!?!?

Me and Excel spreadsheets get along like dogs and fleas...I HATE putting that stuff online :P I much prefer the old standby pen and paper. I guess I'm just old fashioned like that about some things. ;)

I am feeling better too, thankfully. I still didn't get anything much done today though :/ And we bought dinner :ep yeaaaahh....was kinda weird. It was just some barbecue though, so not TOO far off the regular dietary habits. Not like it was fast food burgers or something :sick

I haven't decided on dinner yet... BBQ sounds good! I did bake a batch of sugar cookies, though! ;)

I used to LOVE spreadsheets back in my corporate days. Don't have much use for them these days...

Are you back to your well self this afternoon? Too hard to get stuff done when one feels badly!!!

going to have to push back out playdate untill tuesday if thats ok with you?! :D

Snappy, I'm fine, been busy. I got Big Boy took to his new residence today, and that was an adventure in and of itself.. We have piggies being born, and I have grocery shopping to complete. I need to go to the DG here shortly and pick up a few things with my coupons.

Pinky, Tuesday should be fine sis :) I look forward to seeing you and Dozey boy!!! :D

We have decided....DH is going to quit working. We have prayed, and talked and talked and prayed about this. This job at the wastewater plant is continually making him sick. As much rain as we have been getting, and the place is constantly flooding etc. he has been continually ill with flu and virus and who knows what that other illness was...so for health reasons, he's coming back home. Financially, it could get ugly again. I LOVE LOVE LOVE having him home though, well for a while anyway  I know it will get old. The whole point of this post is we are taking a leap of faith, trusting God, and taking a whole new turn on this self sufficient living bit. I'll probably whine here and there. We'll probably be broke here and there, and life will get verrrrrrry interesting at times, BUT, we have decided to take the plunge. We are going to attempt to work the land to the point of sustenance..farm it, get animals on it, and work work work it, as our SOLE income...whew! DH by all rights should be on disability, and we may eventually go that route. We do plan to hold out as long as possible on that though, because if we DON'T actually NEED it, we will NOT take any more from this broken government. But, IF we do need to, we will take BACK what was once ours in order to live. It's a HUGE change, will be a further change in lifestyle to accompany the changes we have already made. I will be looking deeper into solar and cutting all possible costs whenever, and wherever I possibly can to make this work. DH is more inportant to me than living "comfortably" or "well off" and it's time to make some changes. I just pray the road isn't too bumpy for any of us. That is all. :P We're throwing caution to the wind and trusting completely in Him and diving in. It's a little nervewracking, buuuuuuuut I'M READY! :D

sound slike theres been alot of soulsearching go into this and i think its the best choice if it making him ill...my bet is he picked up that nasty tummy virus from the flooding waters, theres all kinds of nasties you can pick up in places like that...

youll do fine...and if thigns dont work out, youll find a way to make them :) you always do!

I do think very much he picked that mess up from work. he goes nowhere else, and doesn't work in close quarters with anyone else, and he has ALWAYS been the first to get sick, and the only one to get sick 2 out of 3 times. May as well quit...he never gets to work anyway. :/ Plus he has a bad case of tennis elbow in BOTH elbows right now just from when he has been well enough to go to work. It's just a little much.
