Not yet. They aren't laying, I gave them the winter off this year ;)
Okay, when you do will you let me know. I love these hens by the way. They are the best, the rooster is good to. :D
Sure will bro! I will send them this Spring for you :) I can send chicks too ya know. The shipping might be a smidgen higher, but I can do it.

I'll see what I can do Buffer :D I have to get them caught, and cooped up, to get eggs out of the little stinkers. We took the old coop down last week, got the new coop put up today, and so I have to catch and confine them. I may do a little supplemental lighting now that winter is almost over to see if I can squeeze some chicken fruit out of them a little early :D

If its going to be a big deal, don't do it. I just have two hens and one roo, I'd breed off of them but I don't want to get the gene pools so mixed or would it even matter. Would it hurt ya reckon? Because I could pen mine up if thats the case....

You *can* do that, if you have no other options. I still almost always carry a spare roo, and generally have more than that if I raise up more hens. I really need to get into my Delaware breeding project this year. I am VERY happy with the birds I have, and the blockiness of my roos, but I need several more, and replacements for a couple of the old original hens i still have. So, in short, I'll be hatching anyway :D

Then we are on. :D We can discuss more as we move through this. :D

The roo has a good personality, but I am not thrilled with his form. I have several roos, the Del, a BSL, and two white rocks.

Good night sis! I probably have school tomorrow :sick
