I have big spare room and just don't know what to do with. I am looking for some ideas to make it useful.

Please share your best ideas.

It really depends on what your interests, hobbies and lifestyle is like. But now these days more and more people are turning a little-used room into a home office. You can also think about it.

Hai Maria thanks for giving me this idea. I will think about it.

I have a spare bed room (the 'guest' room) that hasn't been used in a LONG time. I'm thinking that I'm going to install heavy duty shelves floor to celing along the 1 solid wall and use it as a pantry/storage. I will probably set up a simple work area on the other side of the room that I can use for projects (like when the back fell off a kitchen drawer) or starting seeds for the garden or sewing those new curtains that are going to go in the den when I finally get it painted...... LOL
Really - think back over the past year and try to remember any time you wished you had somewhere to ....... ?? THAT is what you should use that room for.

Hey Cane, how about a few grow lights and some seed starting flat shelves...just sayin...:)

..trying to get me on some sort of watch list?????

;)

What? No "funny post" smiley??? ^^^^Funny Post^^^^ 'Canes growing a cash crop :D

Got the big table cleaned up and moved from the barn....
Got a bunch of nice long shelving boards...
Just need the lights and seed starting trays..

My thoughts: ditch the floaters and get a couple nice, big background species, or something that will grow in big and bushy in that back-left corner. Like some Jungle Val, or a big sword, or a hygro...or something.
