The spring has come to Sweden!!
It's a bit late this year, the Winter was soooo long!

Me and my wife spent some hours at the riverbank.. :)

Wow, congratulations! What are those, and will you be eating them?

My husband and I fish here in Oregon (west coast of USA), but haven't caught anything yet. We both are successful in the more eastern states, but fish here are different. Different foods, different eating patterns... just different. And we haven't been successful at catching any yet. So in the meantime I'll drool over your pictures - they look great!

Those are beauties! Thanks for posting.

They look like they could be in the salmon family - some sort of salmon, trout, or char. Are they?

Morning! :)

Yes, it's Salmon. (Lat. Salmo salar).

Both are males, were mated in the fall and heading out to sea again to eat up, now they were quite narrow ..

If they had been caught in the fall OR the next time they come to the river they would been really fat!

But hey, i am a self-sufficient = They went home to the house .. :)
