Occasionally, early takers show up. I no longer try to understand why, I just receive it. Late blooming cold hardy plums are all the rage around here nowadays

Unsure whats going on with this branch but I find it pretty interesting. Remember I'm easily amused!

I might need to weigh down my boots so I don't blow away—the winds are crazy today! But the peach trees are exiting their fruit drop/pit hardening phase, and it seems the wind is just helping shed the fruitlets that didn't form pits. Yet another reminder to observe, appreciate, and refrain from complaining! Things are not always as they seem. After sampling a couple early ripened
cherries, I decided to come inside and get out of the wind. Wind is gonna do what wind does anyway.
