Wowza, did I have a great time at Goodwill today! Spent about an hour searching....told myself before going in, colorful ribbed turtlenecks, maybe a couple of long sleeve shirts for around the house (need to toss a couple of tattered ones) and pants for work (no big hopes here, I'm hard to fit....I have both a waist AND a butt!

) and always looking for short sleeved shirts for work. AND a fun item....a big men's wool sweater for a felting project. Oh, and books.
I came out of there with 4 wonderful, colorful, ribbed turtlenecks, two purple (one paisley!!!) cotton long-sleeved tops, a GORGEOUS XL men's heavy shetland wool sweater...not a purse, I gotta make a vest with this, it is too wonderful!....and a few books....most notably a cookbook called...
PIG! All pork recipes, and not afraid of fat, either!
As I was going through the checkout, I said to the older woman there....doesn't the cover of this book make you hungry? Well, turns out her daughter raises pigs, and she wrote her name and number on my receipt!
I made out like a bandit!
OOOOHHH! And got a brand-new pair of Gloria Vanderbilt pants, the kind I get at Costco for work but they haven't had lately....for $3!!
Everything except the books were half price. I also found a mug with a horse on it for 50 cents.
