What music are you listening too?

I love the Christmas songs that are done by musicians......like Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Clause is Coming to Town"
or Elvis and his Blue Christmas........Dolly Parton did a bunch also. I just love those remakes.

Oh, I love tabla drumming!!! I went to a great collage with a wonderful music and art program. Different drummers would converge in different spots on campus to drum late into the evenings. To find them, you just followed the drumming. Anyone could join in. I could listen to it all night!! There was something soothing and zen about that 3 beat rhythm.

A really talented drummer is Ginger Baker. He was considered a shamanic drummer, especially apparent in the little known Cream song "We're Going Wrong" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gRmN9TonquA&feature=related Drums are more distinct in headphones.
