Spy satellite??? The Man watching over us?

It HAS to be a satellite.........I'd just like to know which one!!k0xxx said:Mars is visible in the evening sky and would "appear" to be orbiting the earth. Also, Jupiter, the brightest of the planets to us, I believe is currently in the evening sky.
As for the appearance of being shaped like a "T", your guess s as good as mine. However, your eyes perceived it, but binoculars couldn't define a shape, I would think the it was only an illusion. I'll have to look this evening too, though.
For those that are curious, the ISS orbits once every 91 minutes (or there about).
I really need a stainless steel hat - would last so much longer, can be washed and used for other things if needed.ohiofarmgirl said:the invasion has begun. good luck earthlings!

A satellite in normal orbit would orbit in roughly the same 91 minute period as the ISS. It could possibly be a geosynchronous satellite as that would be the only way that it would appear to be stationary, but I doubt it. A geosynchronous satellite might appear to "flare" as we move in relation to the sun, but the effect normally lasts only from a few seconds, to maybe 30 seconds. I work with satellites a lot in Amateur Radio.SKR8PN said:It HAS to be a satellite.........I'd just like to know which one!!
