cooked a bigger breakfast this morning

ton of scrambled eggs, bacon, smoked sausage, buttermilk biscuits, homemade red plum jam, strawberries.

They ate like dogs  which is good. Will hold them and a small lunch makes it easier for me today

Put a hand in to get 1/2 a biscuit and almost lost some fingers :p

So how big are you cooking this morning!!!

We had a nice, but not that big Sunday breakfast :)

bacon, french toast, and scrambled eggs

hubby cooks me breakfast every Sunday so it's lovely to not have to do anything... doesn't matter what it is, as long as I'm not the one cooking it!

yea nothing puts more of a damper on 'cooking' anything else if there is a leftover mess. I hear you on the cereal.

have fun cleaning up

I made country gravy with sausage yesterday and cornmeal butter milk biscuits the day before. We had to go feed the cows this morning so I just heated up the biscuits and gravy and fried a couple of eggs to go on top. Work mornings have to be easy but filling! Have to make more biscuits when I find the recipe later today.

We have been enjoying our second weekend of home growed chicken seeds...err...eggs. :weee Hashbrowns, sausage patties, toast, and coffee and milk to go with. The eggs are delightful too. Nice hard shells, off white color, smallish...takes 4 to make 3.....bright orange yolks and firm held together whites. And...we now have hen #4 laying :ya

I tell ya there is no IHOP or Dennys or WaffleHouse that can beat a fresh breakfast off the farm

We went to a WaffleHouse (I think that is the name) I ordered an omelet. OMG I swear they weren't eggs. I asked, 'are these real eggs?' and she said sure.
yea right...I couldn't eat it.

never again will I order eggs out. they are just gross unless I see a diner short order cook have dozens of eggs by his side cracking and frying.
