What? No freezer?? You have a frig? Ok -- you need to make another pan of those! :lol: if he doesn't get back soon enough, you'll have to eat those, too! Tough luck.

Last night I had some ham and beans...used a pint of beans I had canned this summer. Fast, good, just added the ham with broth.

Made a pot of goat meat stew, to have with rice or noodles. Pretty good. Braised on top of stove, added wine, water spices and into oven for a few hours. Tender and tasty. Food from freezer and heating house. 😁 multi tasking as I watched last night's snow melt away. Winds were bitter!!! All the animals were snuggled in the barns and me in the house.

Oddly, a program on a TV cooking channel was discussing goat meat cooking! Anyone realize it is most eaten meat on a worldwide basis? I knew goat milk was most used. Lucky me,. I have both.


Eta:. Most eaten "red" meat.....:).
