Such a pretty bowl of chili!

Recipe:
Lamb bone broth, with celery, chard, and spring mix
Chunks of leftover lamb
Leftover mashed carrot
Home-canned BBQ sauce that didn't seal
Canned crushed tomatoes
Home-canned navy beans
Frozen corn

if you have a child who doesn't like carrots i found out today that you can eat Jr Mints with them and you can't even taste the carrot at all. just a big crunchy Jr. Mint. :)

when recipes say adjust to taste, well... :)

i love carrots so this isn't an issue for me but while i was grazing before going out to work in the garden i decided to give it a try (when you've eaten as many carrots as i have it is nice sometimes to have options :) ).

if i want something different i sometimes use peanut butter on them or they go well with cheese too so i can do that. in the case of yesterday though i'd already just had peanut butter on some crackers so i was up for something different from the previous course.
