It was really good. DH will have the last two tonight and I'll find something carby for me, lol.

After dinner he asked me when I was going to start raising quail again, lol. When you start taking care of them was my reply. But, seriously...I'm thinking about it.

Pig! Not sure what it's called - based loosely on carnitas. Pork chunks simmered in its own fat, added some OJ, lots of garlic, peppers, onions, oregano and cumin. Home canned pintos for a side.

Just salad. Ive been trying to add as many different things as I can. Tuesdays and Thursdays are designated for salad.

today the plan is to make some green curry beef and onions. it's the closest thing i can get to decent Thai food around here. Mom won't touch it, but i will make several extra pints to put in the freezer for times when i'm wanting something completely different than the usual. i've made this enough times that i know it will come out well.
