so far a few oranges and some corn chip crumbs and a bowl of potato soup which was more like a late lunch and early dinner. not sure what else i'll get into tonight but it is likely to be some form of sugar and crackers (jr. mints + buttery club crackers are in fact better than the girl scout thin mint cookies)...

Now I'm gonna have to try it - someday...

i did talk myself into eating something more substantial and perhaps a bit better for me. i had some leftover beans, and then i crunched up some corn chips that were leftover, put some cheese on top, melted it all together and then topped with plain yogurt and some hot sauce. for some reason sour cream just doesn't work as well for me as plain yogurt. i like things a bit more wet and the tang of yogurt appeals to me more. the sour cream we have is very thick and just not what i want... it's ok when mixed in other things tho.

Had a pan fried steak last night, with sweet potatoes. It's was thick & barely med rare. Yummy.

Not wanting more clean up, I used a small sweet, peeled & sliced thin. Tossed in same pan, a touch of water to descale & covered. They cooked fast, were really good. Savory but, naturally sweet.

Was a change from usual bake, add butter, etc.

Have a chunk of steak waiting for breakfast today. Just heat! :drool. Bonus.
