What's your favorite version of the Star Spangled Banner? I don't know if I have a favorite but I sure love hearing it live right before a baseball game on the 4th!

Probably before your time but Kate Smith did a great Star Spangled Banner even if she was more famous for her "God Bless America"~gd

I like it best when we sing it ourselves.

Nothing like having the family gather 'round, all of us, singing all four verses, in four part harmony. Just fills you up from toes to top.

I'll look it up!

I just put together a random patriotic playlist and it popped up the Pilot's Hymn. I'd never heard it before to my knowledge. Beautiful!

Battle Hymn of the Republic
Heroic Overture to Adventure
Pilot's Hymn
Dixie
When Johnny Comes Marching Home
My Country 'Tis of Thee
Pioneer Spirit

I would do just about anything to be able to hear Kelly Clarkson's version of the star spangled banner again.

I also liked Carrie Underwood's version a whole lot.

I had once heard an instrumental version that was mixed with John Wayne recited the Pledge of Allegiance. It was awe inspiring.
