Haha. I really like the idea of the rubbermaid container and the plunger. Nice and simple. However, DH already thinks I'm kinda nuts, and I can just see the look on his face when I start up with a contraption like that! Actually, that would be worth trying it just to see his reaction :gig

Ok your going to think I've lost it. But my compost tumbler is exactly what your describing. Let me find a picture.
That is ingenious! I almost bought one just like it (for composting) several years ago, but couldn't fit it in the car I had then. Great idea!! :D

I used to wash clothes in the tub and stomp/scrub them clean. Then hung them securely on the line and sprayed them with the hose to rinse them.
Didn't use the nasty detergents anyway, so it just watered the garden at the same time.

I am the type that would do big tub and plunger.
I hate "all gadgets" anymore LOL I don't even want to buy them anymore


Our clothes never get truly dirty....so most require quick wash and hang

Farm clothes that do the hog work etc would require Hubby to plunge haha now those clothes need to be worked hard to clean
