Now, my husband isn't happy, but I'm thrilled! because it irritates the daylights out of me when he decides to go outside and leaves the T.V. on. I'll turn it off because no one is watching, and he when he comes back in he'll say, "Why is my t.v. off?"

DUH! no one was watching it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet if you manage to keep it a lower priority for a while, he will realize it is not a big priority too. I was totally and completely surprised the first time my husband actually said that he LIKES not having a tv. If you asked me last year, I would never have imagined such a thing!
