I have my yogurt draining for the whey. What is your favorite way to flavor the yocheese. First time so I need ideas.

tzatziki,

sweeten lightly and add cinnamon, use as a spread on bagels

mix with ranch dressing seasoning, use as a dip or spread.

mix 1/2 and 1/2 with mayo, a handful of freshly cracked black pepper, some salt, and a bunch of parmesan cheese, us as a dip.

Substitute for sour cream in any recipe.

The name itself makes me laugh! "yo  cheese" :p

Anyhoo, the recipes sound yummy! I'm making pimento cheese and the recipe calls for 3 oz of cream cheese, I think I will sub some yo  cheese instead. :p

I need to make more too....i need some whey

By the way....it is also good on a baked potato. Put some on DD 7's potato w/butter cheddar and yocheese. She thought it was delish but didn't realize I had added the yocheese.

Thanks all, I used stoneyfield organic. It was pretty pricey so thinking of making my own yogurt next. What kind of milk works best for you? Does it have to be whole milk? How many use organic milk or does this defeat the price factor of making your own?
