You are not what you eat. You are what you ABSORB. You can pour all of the highest quality food into your body and if you cant absorb it, it is being wasted. Depending on what your body isnt absorbing, you can suffer a whole host of bad effects. I lost 2.5 inches off of my height when I was ill thanks to the inability to absorb multiple nutrients, including calcium and D3.

Interesting! Thanks for posting that..i definately need to improve my gut health as I am not absorbing folic acid and have to take a suppliment

I have fixed a lot of my health issues over the last 3 years, but only recently did I get in to kefir. The difference has been noticeable. I am researching more in to gut flora and believe it plays an even bigger role in health than many people realize.

What is kefir? I have heard of it just not what it is.
