I know it's not the "slow cooker season" but I just got a new one and am in the mood for a slow cooked meal! Let's hear some of your favs!

This isn't exactly a recipe, but my favorite meals are meals OTHER PEOPLE cooked. I really don't much care what it is so long as I can have it (food allergies) so.....make someone else cook ;)

Just today I put a whole chicken in my slow cooker. Sprinkled it with salt, pepper, garlic, parsley, sage, marjoram, and two bay leaves. Added a sliced onion and a bunch of water. Delish! Then served it with baked potatoes.

any meat along with cut taters, carrots. any type of stew then serve up with plenty of buttermilk biscuit or ladle over rice.

I absolutely love how soft meat comes out of a slow cooker. takes a rough/tough piece of meat and just makes it so yummy
