Today I gave my youngest granddaughter some vegetable seeds to plant. She got really excited about planting her own garden. I told her as long as she takes good care of it she will be able to pick her own veggies from her own garden. I started cleaning my hen den. After I get it done I will get my husbands studio cleaned. Then I will get the house organized and all the other stuff done.

She's 14 and this is the first time she has ever been excited about gardening. I will be helping her out with her garden just to make sure she doesn't get discouraged about it.

find out what she really likes to eat and try to grow some of those things. also encourage her to accept the imperfect results. it helps people to be more practical and less wasteful...

She got broccoli cauliflower spinach cabbage Brussels sprouts and a variety of onions. She got really excited about it but said she didn't want to do anything but Brussels sprouts and broccoli so I told her that she was also going to be able to grow food for her family and she said okay then I will try it.

That's the rain fall we got yesterday. All of the blurry areas are the rain not fog. The white dots are also rain. From today until the 3rd we're under a blizzard watch.
