I've been thinking about doing this myself, on a small scale for friends and family. But that's about as far as I've gotten with it, so I'm curious to see people's responses. I think I could figure out how much to grow after I know who's in, but I'd be hard-pressed to come up with a figure for how much everyone would need to pay.... :pop

How much garden space do you have?
Just for the two of use, we need about 1/4 acre to grow everything we need.

We are still in the growing the garden size stage, but this year we will be planting potatoes, rutabegas, turnips, carrots, onions, tomatoes, parsnips, herbs, mangels (for the animals), peas, lettuce, cabbage and 3 kinds of squash.

If we were in a warmer climate, we would also plant beans, both fresh and the drying kind and corn, which would bump up the size.
