@sumi asked me to post pictures of our farm. She said we had done so much work to this place that she would like to see some before and after (during) pictures. @MoonShadows said Yay for pictures, so here they are.

Our house the day we closed on it September 23, 2014

This is our porch being added. Picture taken on December 1, 2015. The porch is 12 feet wide by 54 feet long and is screened in. We love it.

This is the porch completed except for the screens, taken December 23, 2015. I can't believe I don't have a picture of it with the screens and gutter on it. I'll have to dig a little bit to see what I can come up with.

This picture is to the left of the house, if you are facing it. It was taken the day we closed. We had to take down the small oak and large pine to the front of the picture. It doesn't show in the picture, but the pine went up about 12 feet and split in a Y. It was where we wanted the carport and because of it's closeness to the house, we hired a professional to take it down. Then we had the stumps ground down.

This is the carport we had put up, picture taken 11-20-2014. We had to level the site with the tractor.

In the background of these pictures is now a fenced backyard from the corner of the house. In the second picture, walk through the carport about 50 feet back and there is the fenced horse pasture with a 12' gate. The next two pictures show part of the back yard fence and part of the horse pasture fence, plus the gate. These pictures were taken on 2-23-2015, nine days after we moved. It snowed!

This is where our portable building sits now. The wire slanting down to the right is a guy wire for an electric pole. The weeds were knee to hip high.

This was our 12'x24' portable building on the property we sold in Livingston. The soil is black clay and it had rained. It was slick, gooey, and I was in a panic because we had a man coming to load it up and take to our new place. Luckily the neighbor across the road had a bulldozer and he pulled it to the road for us, so the transport truck could load it up.

It looks like he was pushing it, but he was backing up. There for a moment, I thought it was going to slide off into the pond! That culvert is 7 feet tall, that creek flooded like crazy and the road into the property went under water on heavy rains until we got that gi-normous culvert, put in for us by the man on the bulldozer!

Made it to the gate!

On our way!

I didn't get a picture that day, but here is one from 2-25-15

And one from 3-7-2015.
