Horehounds candy

The farm store needs to stop selling horehound candy for $1.00 a bag. This stuff is like crack cocaine to me. Not that I ever smoked any crack but I already know I'm addicted to this candy. I just bought another 5 bags today.

I've made my own horehound throat loznges before with horehound I grew in the garden but these are so good. Maybe it's the copper pot they cook them in???

a buck is cheap! I've paid $5 for that brand of candy here. I didn't get horehound. It was old time licorice
