I'll bet that was great, until you had to get out of the water! ;)
Moments like that remind you that you are alive.
That truly is one of the best parts of the hot tub experience!! We prefer it when it's really COLD outside. When you get out of the tub steam literally pours off your body - it's so cool. I should probably mention that my back porch is very private, lol!

I have done absolutely not much today, lol. I did a little clean-up in the pasture of 'stuff' that the dogs chew on...hay string that was buried in the mud until it rained, and a tarp
that got shredded in the wind the other day.

Have family coming tomorrow and I should be cleaning and getting a jump start on cooking- but I’m not. Oh well- it’ll get done or it won’t.

Zone 6B or 7 can't decide
I'm not a "bather". The last time I took a bath: In a kiddie pool... on the back deck... under the stars... in November... with a fine glaze of ice on the deck. Had to watch my step coming in so I didn't slip on the ice. We were remodeling the bathroom, and tub/shower was out of commission. I actually enjoyed that star lit bath!!! It was... shall we say?... invigorating!

Sounds like it were me it would have been nipple hard cold and the boys would protest and shrink up to the size of marbles.

I thought I was going to have a nice relaxing weekend.... However, DH's brother, SIL and niece have come to town. They, and DH's mom, will be coming over for lunch in a little while and of course they "NEED" to see the animals. I'm throwing together a simple lunch since I had this dropped into my lap last night with no prior notice. YIKES! It'll be ok though, I enjoy their company. Biggest problem - the Texans are playing and I want to watch the game! I'm recording it -just in case they're not all football fans!

In the house I shower - on the back porch I bathe, lol! (or more appropriately - I soak) :)

Kin folks are gone and we had a great visit! I do enjoy their company. We don't see each other often enough - they live in Tennessee. We need to go visit them next time.

I love soaking in a hot bath. Showers are o.k. but nothing (for me) beats that lowering yourself into hot water and feeling it draw every ache and bit of stress out of you.

It's nice you got to spend time with your people. It's lovely getting to see people we're fond of that lives far away.
