My weeds are bigger than your weeds! :plbb

I just about got mine whipped. It was pretty wet this morning, makes hoeing tough. But of course forecast thunder storms starting @ 3:00 AM, so doubt I'll be working in the garden much tomorrow. It's a really wet spring this year, weeds love water.

Yep. Not just any scuffle hoe, but a Rogue scuffle hoe. Best hoe I've ever had and I've used a fair plenty of hoes in my life. It's nothing short of amazing, particularly for my kind of gardening.

Must get one of these Rogue scuffle hoes. I sharpened my regular how this morning, scary sharp - but it only cuts in one direction. The Rogue scuffle hoe looks like a great hoe. Thanks

BTW my FIL had the worst hoe ever. The handle was crook off to the side a good 6 inches, he swore by it "best hoe ever, he said" but I cut down more plants with that hoe. I just could aim it right.

I've got the one in the first vid...a 6 in.

These hoes are unlike any other hoe, as their edges are beveled to create an even sharper edge...and then I have my son sharpen that when needed. You could likely gut a person with this hoe.

He made me a little leather sleeve for the hoe head...after I priced those on their site, I was mighty glad he is crafty with leather. I requested the cap for it after I accidentally cut my wheel cover for the spare tire on the CRV...just barely caught this hoe on it and opened up a hole.

I can share @Beekissed enthusiasm. After her glowing recommendations last summer, I bought a scuffle hoe, and really like it. To get the most benefit of it, I should change up my garden bed spacing to accommodate the 6" profile. Instead of broadcasting my seed, I should plant short rows ACROSS the bed, with spacing between those rows to allow the scuffle to do it's magic.

Weeded, tilled and fertilized. The soil is still very wet and thunderstorms forecast tomorrow. I did the best I could with the soil being so wet, soil is pretty chunky.

Also pulled a few romaine plants to make a salad for dinner. So nice to have crunchy sweet fresh lettuce.

Actually the just changed the forecast, I can't imagine why. Looks like rain overnight and tomorrow.

That storm just went through here. The networks are still in tornado warning mode, broadcasting where the rotations are, hail, and heavy rains.
