So yesterday when we went to feed our girls we discovered our broody bantam has hatched a chick. She is out with her chick exploring with the others. I checked her nesting box and there were 4 eggs not hatched. We candled them and there are live chicks in them so we now have them in the incubator. Hopefully once they hatch she will except them with her current chick.

Awww! When the chicks hatch, slip them under her at night, when she's sleepy, so she'll wake to the new chicks in the morning. Hopefully none the wiser!

the greenhouse is close to being done. I need to pick up 4 more panels to finish closing it in. The boxes for the beds are in place. Just need to fill them up and I am also adding a shelf all the way around the walls as well
