No rain today, humid and hot. Cleaned out horse barn. Dumped loads over backyard fence where Paris has dug on her side and horses have stomped on their side, both leading to erosion. Getting 3 granddaughters and 3 dogs next week. Little dogs that could slip under the fence and get stomped by horses. I gotta go back out and rake and pack it. Gotta shovel in dog holes and pick up remains of Paris’s dog cave, she did a good job of tearing it up. Random boards and nails is all that’s left. Paris retired herself and moved under the front porch. At 13, she can do whatever she wants. But now I have to spiff up her deserted premises for visitors.

Taking an iced coffee break, sugar, cream and vanilla. Thanks for the vanilla suggestion @GrandmaDeKorte. DH took off his second sweat soaked shirt, he needs to stay in now.

Finished coffee. Need to go fill in crater at the drive through gate, it would tip over the tractor, it’s so deep. Crazy dog.

Wait... Yesterday evening my Wife said the garden needs rain and it was supposed to rain since last friday. Then she she said, she just might have to go outside and pray holding an umbrella. Then she further said I know God can make it rain.

Did I mention how much I ❣️ my Wife? She has some unshakeable faith in Almighty God, something I'll never understand. I gave up trying to understand a long time ago.

Well IDK if she actually did pray holding an umbrella or not. Or Maybe God Almighty just heard her talking, but it's starting to cloud up 🤣.

I got some double bell pepper plants where one needs to be pulled and transplanted into another row. But I can't pull one until the ground is soft and wet. I really don't want to post 5 pinocchio's, but doggone it, I will if I have to. We need rain, Almighty God, send rain.

I was just informed that, we will have two grandchildren for 2 weeks. I could use a little help around the farm, honestly...

Edit... Very Nice a couple drops of rain fell on my head 😅

What's that I hear off in the distance? Is that "THUNDER", you know where there's Thunder there's⚡where there's lightening there's 🌧️. Thank You Almighty God! 😊

Looks as though we are right in the path of the Rain Train coming up from the south. Choo Choo 💓

We got a brief shower. Then I went out to do evening chores. Move the little girl lambs back to the back lot, move Ringo and the big girls back to the barn Feed, water, hay, fed Sheba and Sentry, fed pigs, gathered eggs.

Took shower, felt lots better. Got pork chops all seasoned up, in the oven. They are smelling good!

I'm so happy for both you and your husband, Bay. I really want some lambs, but it's all about timing. Just because I want doesn't mean I should. Since, I really don't believe in coincidences. You know, I didn't just happen to see a cougar for no reason. Putting lambs on pasture here, would just be ringing the dinner bell. Kitty needs to go, then hopefully it might be safe for lambs. Notice I didn't say jealous of you guys. I am however very happy for you guys. You put forth the effort and are now reaping what you sowed, great work!
