Paper towels? Wow - who knew!

I started gathering supplies this morning. Now, if only I can find the rest of my stupid seeds :old I'll be starting some soon. Actually, I found the corn and the broccoli - still looking for the radish and peas.

I want to try paper towel on top of soil for baby greens. I think the roots can penetrate paper towel so the plants can access soil nutrients, but the paper towel would keep the baby greens clean. IDK, it works out great in my imagination. Someone should try it. :gig

:caf Good Morning, cup#2, ☕
In the late fall and winter months I have always grown sprouts.
I have had this set up for 30 years.

I have organic beans and grain that I have used as sprouts. Adzuki beans, red wheat
etc.

Last year I ordered a big can of seed from True Leaf Market "Handy Pantry"

I do let my sprouts get taller than the tray, but sometimes we eat them to soon.
I like both, sprouts and microgreens. https://practicalgrowing.com/microgreens/difference-sprouts-shoots-microgreens/
I just need to get a good microgreen set up from True Leaf Market https://www.trueleafmarket.com/

This is a pic from last Dec. I have kombucha, sourdough and sprouts going.
