That’s such an asshole move I love it 🤣🤣
He pretends to hate it :gig

My dog is obsessed with Twinkies and Nutter Butters now. I had been obedience training him but it wasn't going well. He was sniffing the Twinkie so I broke off a piece and cued "Finish." Turns out he knows Finish but just doesn't wanna do it, except for a Twinkie. :gig Don't tell my vet, okay? :gig

What does a twinkie even taste like LOL?
Artificial somewhat-cake-textured foam that is both greasy and dry at the same time with oily white slime inside. They don't really "taste", they smell. DS6 says "it smells better than it tastes." He's not wrong. It smells like artificial cake batter flavor, artificial vanilla, and sugar.

You're not missing much. :gig

They were my favorite when I was a kid. I loved the "raspberry" coated Zingers too. We didn't really have good or fresh food when I was a kid and my parents bought sugary desserts (usually cheap boxed cake mix, no frosting) to make up for it. Most of our food was gross and poorly prepared.

i have lived off LD Oatmal Cream Pies (put them in the freezer it takes a few seconds longer to eat them that ways). the abbreviation there brings to mind a question of what is the LD-50 of OCPs might be? lol

what i've found though is that as i got older and spoiled myself with better quality things is that LD just has no flavor to it for me compared to things i can make myself. i don't even want them any more. cheers for food snobbery i guess. :)

Nutter Butters are highly addictive to me. i think it is the salty aspect and the crunch too along with the sugar and peanut butter. all of that, yep, i could eat those by the thousands, but we don't usually buy cookies for us to eat as we make so many. i'm glad. i really don't need more temptations around here.

yeah, sponge cake, slight lemon and vanilla flavors, but really mostly sugar and not anything else (like most LD products are to me either waxy or slimy and sugar and that's about it).

some years ago when Hostess went out of business i was thinking i should try a box of them before they went under but i never got around to it. and then a few years later they got bought and reopened and production restarted and i did get a box of them and ate them but i didn't much care for them at all. frozen helped.

in the end and again i prefer the cream puffs we make for ourselves once in a while. not too hard to make and hit all my cravings.
