Brook trout breaded with ritz and fried. They're done when the eyes pop. Hubby didn't believe me when I said Mom and Dad make us catch breackfast. Then he went camping with them.

We'd make the foil stew packets sometimes. Baked potatoes cooked in coals. Kebobs are always good. Soups in a pot I'm very good at.

I cooked a roast once. That was a pain because you have to watch and turn it for so long. I didn't have an actual spit.

We have some of the pie irons. We used the heck out of them when I was a kid.

Boy Scout Stew - couple cans of baked beans, couple of onions diced, couple of green peppers diced and a couple packs of wenniers sliced. Put in all in a big cast iron pot and cook over coals as long as you want. Recipe varies every time.

For desert, coke a cola cake. Just a box of instant cake mix and sub coke for water bake in dutch oven over coals. Don't knock it till you try it 😜
