Making more kumquat marmalade this morning as well as cooking up a pot of rice/eggs as a treat for the dogs. Once my hens started laying again - they're taking their job very seriously. Dogs don't have a problem helping out - nor does the pig. They love them some eggs, lol. Think I'll scramble up a few for a late breakfast too.

I still hope to get some ham and white bean soup canned up this week - or next week - or whenever I can get to it. Argh - pulled in too many directions right now. Tomorrow Ginger will be at 150 days and hopefully will get this year's first kids on the ground! Getting excited about that. She's acting silly and riding her pen mate so there are definitely hormones at work.

Need to get to the feed store this week, do some re-worms on some does and put together a kidding kit. Basically, that means grab some towels and the iodine.

Turned the horses back out to pasture where they'll hopefully stay for the next 3 days - before rain threatens again. I was really worried that my rye grass had been destroyed by the freeze. It was brown and down for awhile. Thankfully, it's perked back up and is looking mean and green. The horses will enjoy a few days of it and it'll save some hay.

Boy left, tiny boy middle, girl right. Simple, easy and quick birth. I had no idea she was carrying trips. Guess the tiny guy wasn’t taking up much room, lol.

Awwwh.....nice job!!

We know the others will follow soon.

I have a couple who look like there's a "busload" in there. Maybe it's the hay. 😁

and it starts with boy goat saying "Hay HAY HAY!" ? ok, silly joke, but i'm just sitting here looking out my patio doors at misty, foggy, rainy weather and no snow at all. :( just not right...

Easy Peasy! I love this girl, she pops 'em out and takes great care of them. Her first set of trips, so I'll have to watch and see that they all stay well fed. So far, little Runt is the strongest feeder. I guess he's trying to catch up, lol. We get a break of at least 7 - 10 days before the next delivery.

One down 13 to go!

When is it your turn?
