Boo! We had rain in the forecast most of the week. Thankfully, most of it stayed north of us. We did end up with another inch but that's better than what we could have gotten.

Same, typically things drown,, I did some watering too earlier.. I have all my house work done and waiting on the chicks. DH too Ziva dog to the vet, I am waiting to hear about that.

we have had enough rains that it isn't quite like the drought we had last year, but so far we've had enough. still a bit drier than normal.

i have to keep the seeds moist enough to sprout so i have to water if there hasn't been enough rains. i prefer rain over watering by hose, but if it rains too much it's a mud bath out there so for the next several weeks just a few rains here or there is optimal. the rains give me a break so my body can recover.

i got some catnip into one of my raised beds and I've started hardening off my hot peppers, eggplant, thyme, sage, rosemary, and oregano. I've got a bunch of beans sprouting which I am really excited about
