In Mississippi for the wife's youngest niece's high
school graduation. Had my very first Buc-ees visit today near Bowling Green KY. It was an experience.

Did resist the urge to purchase for the daughters

@FarmerJamie what did you think of Buc-ees? It is an experience. They sell all that food, but absolutely no place to sit down and eat it. It’s all about gas up, go to bathroom, shop all the crazy stuff, get something to eat and hit the road again.

Lol, yes, I found a quiet spot on the edge of the parking lot, we ate in the car there.

First, I follow two guys from the UK that post videos sampling US food. They raved about the brisket. There are plans to build one in Ohio between Cincinnati and Dayton in the coming years. The Kentucky one is about 20 miles short of our usual south bound potty stop at the TN/KY border rest stop, so it was convenient.my wife is very picky about her BBQ. She stated she could eat it again

Second, I worked for several years at TravelCenters of America (now owned by BP), and the CEO at the time had a hospitality background. He was trying to make "truck stops" more "family friendly" to tap that market share. I was blown away by the Buccees marketing and approach. The entrances to the site are clearly posted "no commercial trucks". I estimated there were ~100 fuel pumps (nearly every one in use) and the store was huge (and packed). Very impressed by their marketing team as a professional.
