Good morning,

The Coffees Ready
AccuWeather says the clouds are going to burn off and it will be in the 70’s
After a week of building the wood shed my garden is in great need of some work.
I will try to spend the day in the garden. I’ll get some pics.
But it is coffee and Truth for Life time.
I love the Alistair daily devotionals, they are read out loud.

And I have my Bible study for Wednesday morning to get done.
I think I will make a small meatloaf for dinner.

Have a great day

Yesterday a hard storm that lasted on hour, dumped 1 1/2” of rain, lightning strikes too close for comfort. One knocked power out for a few hours. This morning, foggy and HOT. Read that as a steam bath.
I grew up in Alamogordo and ElPaso I do not miss the lighting storms.

Really hot and it makes me a touch dizzy at times -- even with plenty of water!! The entire atmosphere is just dead, stifling, sauna air. Y'all be careful if you're in this weather -- I am!!

Feel bad for animals and I check water several times a day. They all have shade available, cool water, plenty of area to wander.

The news is constantly putting out water safety warnings here as it gets warmer. Fall in a river and the temperature shock may drown you. All that cold glacier fed water.

Some people just don't respect the water and how dangerous it can be no matter where it is
Another drowning fatality in a nearby state park today

Everyone probably responds differently. But (my) initial clue is when I suddenly get cold. Makes no sense when your burning up to suddenly get cold. But I've discoved that's my body telling my brain to take a break, hydrate and cool off. I have to be really self conscious of this clue. If I don't pay attention it can get more serious pretty quickly.

FB and I had to clean the coils and squirrel cage fan inside the heat pump last night. The exchanger is in the attic under non insulated tin roof. You already know how hot that can be. I was so NOT looking forward to it. Well Mr. Almighty sent a heavy down pour about an hour before we started. That and the setting sun under cloudy skies, cooled off the attic to be bearable to work in :) Thank You Mr. Almighty 👆

We cut and framed a second man hole in the ceiling right near the exchanger. Made a big mess to clean up. But now, servicing the heat pump will be a cake walk insead of crawling 40 some odd feet through the attic to even get to the exchanger.

I ❤️ working with FB. She asks lots of questions, makes suggestions, makes me think of things I never would have thought of. She is very observant, we learn together. Plus she's just plain beautiful to look at 😍. Most people would call HVAC company for a service call. Nah... if something needs fixing, we first try and fix it ourselves and save $$$.

I've grown tired of replacing filters for this unit. They aren't cheap and are single use throw away. Seems like a big waste of money to me. Especially since we use the building for multi purpose, which can and does create a lot of dust. So I ordered permanent washable aluminum filters for heat pump. It'll be my first time using them, I'll let you know what I think about them when I receive them.

eBay Filters Home (not sure why the link says Security Measure ???)

Hope everyone has a blessed rest of your day.
